Alan Brown draws upon the Constitution, the Bible, and a South Texas outlook for guidance in his pursuit of justice. An accused person is deemed innocent until proven guilty and every accused person is entitled to a good defense. He claims for his guiding principle the Biblical instruction to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly (Micah 6:8). And he remains vigilant in keeping with the South Texas philosophy that one should love your country but distrust your government.
Alan Brown has been a practicing criminal trial lawyer for more than 36 years, becoming one of the first lawyers in Texas to become a certified specialist in criminal law.* He is a charter member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association, a member of the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers’ Association, and of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
